How to start a build session

1. Open Mia Connect and go to the Build together tab.
2. Pick one of your own apps and switch building together on.
3. Invite a connection and give them a role — for instance may build.
4. They get a notification and see the session right away in their own Mia Connect.

From that moment they can send in build requests, in plain language, exactly like you do with Mia.

Requests and the queue

Every request lands in a queue. From there, up to four build sessions pick up work at the same time — as the owner you decide how many may run in parallel. Everyone in the session sees the same queue: what's running, what's waiting and what's done, with live updates from the build sessions themselves ("changed file X, because Y"). As soon as a request finishes, a fresh preview of the app appears — you watch the result grow without having to ask "are you done yet?".

Building in parallel — without overwriting each other's work

The work always runs on the Mia of the app's owner. Participants don't pass files around; they send requests. The build sessions running in parallel don't work past each other: they tell each other with every change what they're adjusting and why, always re-read a file right before writing, and coordinate first when two requests touch the same file. That gives you the speed of parallel work without the classic "who overwrote my work?".

The app stays in one place, with the owner, and everyone watches and builds towards it through their own Mia.

Pausing and stopping

As the owner you can pause a session at any moment — new requests then wait — or stop it entirely. You can also change roles per person or remove someone from the session. You never lose the app itself: it is and remains yours.
