Have a dashboard built

Having a dashboard built means someone makes you one screen that shows how your business is doing at a glance: your revenue, what still needs to come in, which jobs are running. With me, the upkeep is part of it — I build it, connect your own systems and adjust it the moment your question changes. Most parties hand over that screen and move on. That is exactly the gap: a dashboard is only worth something if it still holds up six months from now.

What do you get when you have a dashboard built?

One screen with the numbers you actually steer on. No twenty tabs and no exports you have to glue together yourself.

I start with the question you ask yourself in the morning. Do you want to know if you'll make it this month? Or who still has to pay? That becomes the top line. The rest sits underneath.

Your other numbers don't get thrown away. They're there, they just don't shout for attention.

Power BI or something of your own?

Most agencies you'll find build in Power BI. Fine tooling, but you're then tied to licences and to someone who operates it for you.

I build your dashboard as its own page that you open in your browser, and on your phone just as well. Nothing to install, no new clicking to learn.

Already running something that works? Then I'll say so. A second dashboard next to one that's doing fine is money out the window.

Who keeps it current once it's there?

That's usually where it falls apart. The dashboard gets handed over, everyone's happy, and a few months later half of it is wrong because you switched accounting software or started selling something new.

I stay on it. Something changes, you tell me, I adjust it. No quote to request, no ticket to file, no waiting until someone has time.

So you're not sitting there staring at it on your own.

How does it go once we start?

First we talk about your business: what you sell, what you watch, what keeps you up at night.

Then I connect your systems — your bookkeeping, your calendar, your webshop, whatever you use — and put a first version in front of you. You look it over and say what needs to change.

It's done when you find it usable, not before. And after that it keeps growing with you.

Frequently asked questions

Can I connect my own data?

Yes. Bookkeeping, calendar, webshop, spreadsheets — if there's a connection or an export, I'll get it in.

What if I don't know which numbers I need?

Then we work that out together. I ask the questions, you tell me how your business runs.

Does it work on my phone too?

Yes, it's just a web page. You open it wherever you like, including on the couch at night.

Mail me at info@mia-automation.com with what you'd want to see on a screen like that, and I'll put a first version together for you.
