Automate your admin without learning a new system
Automating your admin means the same steps happen on their own: reading receipts, preparing invoices, ticking off payments, sending reminders. You can do that with software you operate yourself, or with me — you just forward me your paperwork and I do the work. Most advice on this is about picking a package and connecting it to everything else. Fine, but you're still the one keeping it up. I turn that around.
What can I take off your hands?
Receipts and supplier invoices that come in by email or as a photo: I read them, pull out the amount and the VAT, and put them ready in your books.
Outgoing invoices: I write them up from your hours or your order confirmation, send them, and keep track of who has paid.
And the chasing. Open items, a friendly reminder, a nudge when a payment doesn't match an invoice. Exactly the work still sitting there on a Friday evening.
How is this different from accounting software?
Software gives you buttons. You still have to know which button, and when.
With me it works the other way round. You tell me in plain words what needs to happen, and I sort it out in the systems you already use. Nothing to migrate, nothing to unlearn.
Your accountant stays your accountant. I just make sure they get a tidy stack instead of a shoebox.
How do you start without turning everything upside down?
We start with one pile. Usually incoming receipts, because that's where most of the irritation sits.
I run that one stream for a few weeks while you watch along. If it's right, we pick up the next one. If it isn't, I adjust it — you don't have to fix anything.
It grows from there until your admin largely runs on its own and you only see the exceptions.
What do I do when I'm not sure?
If an invoice looks off — an amount that doesn't match, a supplier I don't know — I don't book it. I ask you first.
Everything I do is there to read back. Every entry, every email, every moment I stopped to ask something. You don't have to check up on me, you can simply see it.
And you keep the say. Whatever you want to keep doing yourself, you keep doing yourself.

No. I work in whatever you use now. If you don't have anything yet, I'll help you pick.
How quickly does it run?
The first stream is usually up within a week. We build the rest on top of it, at your pace.
Do I still need my accountant?
Yes. I deliver the groundwork in good order, they do the checking and the filing. They spend less time sorting things out.
